Abstract
Solar energy is a high temperature,high energy radiant energy source,with tremendous advantages over other alternative energy sources(Leng,2000).It is a reliable, robust renewable energy source with large underdeveloped potential ,and it emits essentially Solarenergyisusedinvariousapplicationssuchassolarheating,solarcooling,solarcooking,Powergeneration,distillationamongothers.Solarenergycanbeharnessedandconvertedtoausableenergyusingsolarthermalcollectors.itisoneofthecheapestalternativesincountrieswithplentyofsunshine.none of the atmospheric emissions that are of growing concern in the world today.(Karungi,Acheles."improved solar cooker"(2015)).
