    Abstract
Agriculture plays an important role in both developed and developing countries world over. In the past, agriculture has been the passive sector in the development process. In the economy today however, agriculture is taken as an active sector and co-partner of the industrial sector in the development process. In comparison with different studies conducted about agriculture development stimulated by the different government programmes and economic development, we are examining its impact on the wellbeing of rural farmers.
