The determinants of access to safe water in Uganda: a case study of Kigezi Region
Abstract
The main objective of this study was to assess the determinants of access to safe water in Uganda, Kigezi region as a case study. The study aimed to find out whether social factors, demographic factors, distance taken, economic factors, and time taken to access safe water have a significant relationship with access to safe water. Secondary data which was obtained from the Uganda Bureau of Statistics, UNHS (2016). The analysis was done using frequency distribution, univariate analysis, Bivariate analysis, and Multivariate analysis.
