    Abstract
The project study examined the digital marketing of resources such as books at MK Publishing Ltd. The project aimed at designing a marketing strategy for Mk Publishing Ltd. The study used a case study research design while adopting qualitative and quantitative research approaches. Data collection methods included structured questionnaires and interviews to collect data on m, access, and use of MK resources. The study used a sample size of six individuals which included general manager / Managing Director one (1), Business Analyst one (1), Sales manager one (1), IT officer one (1)and Marketing executives. The findings of the study revealed that MK Publishing Limited utilizes social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram to build a community around their publications, engage with readers, and promote new releases. However, during the interview with the respondent, he said, that the platforms for MK Publishing Limited are very inactive and not much in use. He went on to say, that the digital marketing administrator is considered a useless employee since the publishing company doesn't depend much on digital campaigns for projects and customers hence mainly depends on government projects thus the company attains a lot of money. Additionally, access and utilization of MK Publishing Ltd resources such as books is an important element of research activities online for clients and staff members and a great physical space-saving component to the company. Also, the study indicates that digital marketing involves social media as the most needed component. It was also found that the benefits of using digital marketing outweighed the challenges. Identified challenges that have hindered digital marketing such as resistance from some of the top managers, inadequate training and support, and limited vision for digital potential. The study therefore concludes that to maximally utilize the available resources at MK Publishing Ltd, a marketing plan was important. This would minimize the number of challenges currently faced, hence to increase on sales through using online handles. The study recommended the adoption of the designed marketing plan for digital marketing of resources such as books at MK Publishing Ltd, others recommendations include Utilize Social Media such as Platform Selection Choose the right social media platforms based on where your target audience is most active (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), Content Strategy; Share engaging content such as book excerpts, author interviews, behind-the-scenes looks, and industry news and also Paid Advertising through Use social media adds to reach a larger audience and target specific demographics. Also, the market sales manager should host Virtual Events such as Webinars that can Organize webinars or virtual book launches to engage with readers and promote new releases.
