Modification of the power supply of the solar 77 led security lighting system
Abstract
This work illustrates in detail the modification of the power supply of the solar 77 led security light. The light comes with 77 bright LEDs and three(3) lighting modes namely; Human body induction mode (the high light turns on when a person passes by and turns off 20∼ 30 seconds after the person leaves). Human body induction low light mode (light low bright in the night, light high bright on when people pass by, low light 20∼ 30 seconds after people leave). Low-light mode (the lamp is always in the low-light state). The user can light it up by button, control remote or its sensor system. The light heads can rotate to adjust the angle vertically 90◦ and horizontally 360◦, which allows the solar panel to follow the angle of the sun to the maximum and obtain long-term sunlight. And can also increase the irradiation area. The device works on both AC and DC of 12V. An AC to DC converter connected to the AC power supply to the system converts AC to DC which is necessary for the operation of the system. When connected to both AC and DC, the 2200mAh battery inside the device is able to charge. This makes the security light to still remain operational even when either the AC power supply is off or when the DC battery charge is exhausted.
