Abstract
Cyberbullying has become a prevalent issue in the digital age, affecting individuals from all walks of life, including public figures. This research aims to explore the phenomenon of cyberbullying as experienced by RT Hon. Anita Annet Among , examining the impact of this online harassment on her well being and public image in Uganda and beyond. Through a mixed-methods approach, including analysis of X (formerly Twitter) data, as well any other related digital information. This study investigates the specific
tactics and motivations behind cyberbullying of the speaker . Additionally, it seeks to investigate the strategies she employs and her support network to cope with and mitigate the effects of this cyberbullying. The findings of this research not only contribute to the understanding of cyberbullying in the context of how Ugandans have resorted to any other means of making their leaders accountable to them but also shed light on the broader implications for mental health, public discourse, and social media
governance.
