The educational landscape in Uganda faces significant challenges, particularly in terms of educational inequality and inadequate resources. This project aims to address these issues by developing a web-based peer learning tool for secondary school students. The proposed system leverages IT/IS to enhance the educational experience through collaborative learning. By facilitating peer-to-peer interaction, the platform seeks to improve student engagement, critical thinking, and overall academic performance. The development of the system follows a structured approach, including identifying requirements, designing the digital intervention, and implementing the solution using the MERN stack. The scope of the project encompasses secondary schools in Kampala focusing on Biology. Through literature review and analysis of current trends in peer learning, the project identifies gaps and proposes solutions to enhance collaborative learning in Uganda. The significance of this project extends to students, school management, academia, and parents, offering a comprehensive tool to support educational goals and improve learning outcomes. Future work will involve the implementation and continuous evaluation of the system to ensure its effectiveness and scalability.
