This project discusses the increasing use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in delivering easy education services in developing countries (Ala'a, 2010). It highlights the convenience provided by mobile phones, allowing users to easily access to their education and registration services. However, in Uganda, this practice excludes those without internet and access to computers, forcing them to rely on friends or random searches for nearby registered centers, leading to challenges like substandard services and excessive charges for registration (Boehm, 1984). To address this issue, the project proposes the development of a Candidate Information System. The project would enable candidates to register online, track the registration, and search for the registered school center numbers in an online database (Smith, 2019). The project would also enable the school admin to register candidates, track the registration status and also view the registered candidates of a particular registered center number. The system admin would be able to create accounts for registered schools with center numbers and provide them with usernames and passwords for logging into the project (Davis, 1977).
