Sizing of a Solar power system for the old CEDAT building.
Abstract
Exploiting solar energy for domestic use is one avenue where the energy emitted from the sun is
converted into electricity to power most if not all the appliances available at our homes and
residences. Building a solar power system is the process of designing, selecting, and calculating
the ratings of the equipment’s employed in the system. This process depends on a variety of factors
such as geographical location, solar irradiation, and load requirementsthis project addresses the
crucial task of sizing a solar power system specifically tailored for the energy requirements of the
CEDAT old building. The primary objective was to conduct a comprehensive analysis, integrating
factors such as energy consumption patterns, climate conditions and available resources. Through
meticulous examination of historical energy data, the study aims to identify peak demand periods
and fluctuations, providing insights crucial for an efficient solar system d
