    Abstract
The study was carried out to analyze the patterns of communication during the covid-19 pandemic with emphasis on the 2021 general elections in Uganda. This is because communication is a vital aspect of society and should not be under looked even in the presence of a global pandemic. The information therein has been gathered to help us navigate the patterns of communication when presented with vast world problems such as global pandemics. Since we all communicate in our daily life situations, this study uncovers several ideas to improve on the effectiveness of what we send out and also aims at making us better communicators at that.
