Abstract
This report presents the development and deployment of EduBot, an educational chatbot designed to assist students by providing quick and accurate responses to academic queries. Leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML), EduBot extracts and processes information from textbooks to offer personalized support, enhancing learning accessibility outside traditional settings. The project addresses the challenges students face in receiving immediate academic assistance, aiming to make learning more efficient and accessible. Key components of EduBot include a user-friendly chatbot interface, a backend server for processing queries, and a machine learning model trained on textbook data. The report details the architecture, methodologies, and technologies used, including NLP models like BERT and data extraction techniques. Testing demonstrated EduBot’s ability to generate reliable responses, though limitations remain in terms of scope and data update needs. Future work includes expanding textbook sources, improving NLP capabilities for complex queries, and integrating multimedia responses to enhance learning experiences. This project highlights the potential of chatbots in education, providing a scalable solution that could significantly aid students in academic achievement.
