    Abstract
This project report presents the development of a PHFIP, designed as a final-year project at the College of Computing and Information Sciences. The portal aims to address the critical need for accessible and comprehensive information on post-harvest practices in agriculture to enhance decision-making in the post-harvest handling process to combat the losses during this process. The study employed an iterative methodology and a user-centered design approach, combining an extensive literature review with stakeholder interviews to identify key information needs. The portal was developed as a web application for organizations and a mobile application for farmers using Python and JavaScript technologies, for example, web technologies react, material UI, and mobile technologies such as react-native, redux and Django for the backend framework. Key features of the portal include crop-specific post-harvest guidelines and tutorials, pest control information, and an interactive forum for farmers and experts. User testing revealed high satisfaction rates and improved access to crucial post-harvest information
