    Work Stress, Psychological Inflexibility and Burnout among Nurses of Kasana Hospital

    Abstract
    The study investigated the relationship between Work Stress, Psychological Inflexibility and Burnout among Nurses of Kasana Hospital. A quantitative approach was adopted in which only a quantitative data collection tool was used. Data was collected from 100 nurses which included both male and female using questionnaires. The data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics in terms of correlations. The results showed show that there was no relationship between work stress and burnout (r=-.136, p= .177). Implying that when nurses are facing high levels work stress they may not face burnout. The results also showed that there is a positive significant relationship work stress and psychological inflexibility, (, (r= .215* p==.032). Implying that nurses with high levels of work stress experience high levels of psychological inflexibility. The correlational results showed that there was a significant relationship between psychological inflexibility and burnout (r=591**, p=.004).
