    Abstract
The Elderly Care Monitoring and Support System (ECMSS) is a modular, scalable system developed to improve the monitoring, safety, and well-being of elderly individuals. The system integrates wearable sensors, cloud-based processing, a Progressive Web Application (PWA), and a caregiver dashboard to deliver real-time alerts, medication reminders, and mobility tracking. ECMSS includes a prescription algorithm, audio-based notifications, and automated adherence monitoring. It is designed in compliance with Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act (2019) and follows internationally recognized software engineering standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and the ACM/IEEE codes of ethics.
