IMPROVING THE DESIGN AND RELIABILITY OF OPEN INTERNET LABORATORY INSTRUMENTS
View/
Open
The open internet laboratory is a platform that is based on open source hardware and software for running internet laboratories. It enables low cost experimentation because no extra cost is required to be paid in form of licenses and loyalty fees. The implementation of open labs hardware started in 2016 and last year web based software was designed and implemented however there were many challenges in terms of the reliability of both the software and the hardware devices. This project discusses the implementation of the improved hardware design of the open internet laboratory instruments under iLabs@MAK project and development of desktop based software to control the hardware. The project involves two devices that is the function generator and the oscilloscope which are the most important instruments while conducting ECE laboratory experiments. (2.390Mb)
