    The role of management accounting systems on the performance of private hospitals in Uganda: Case study of Ggwatiro Hospital

    This study was of explanatory nature and intended to discover the role of Management Accounting Systems on hospital performance of a private hospital. Primary data was collected from a sample of patients and hospital staff using a structured questionnaire and an interview guide respectively. Findings of the study showed that the independent variables of Cost Accounting system, Inventory Management system and Environmental Accounting had a joint significant effect on hospital performance from both an internal and the clients perspective.
