    Digital literacy skills of students of Makerere College School

    Abstract
    The study with the topic “digital literacy skills” and with the case study of Makerere college School Library, aimed at finding the best guidelines for improving digital literacy skills of students of Makerere college school. The researcher basing on the problem statement was prompted to find out why there is limited digital skills utilization at Makerere College School. The study was guided by the four research questions like; what is the status of digital literacy skills of students of Makerere college school Library? How is digital literacy skills of students of Makerere college school library managed? What are the challenges of digital literacy skills of students of Makerere college school Library? And what would be the best guidelines for improving digital literacy skills of students of Makerere college school library? The study used a case study design with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to collect and analyze data from 90 respondents (librarians, teachers and students). Data was presented using tables and bar graphs to further explain the field data that was obtained. Digital literacy was covered in details inform of how it is managed and maintained, the research was successful as it involved respondents inform of questionnaire and interview where different opinions were obtained to help the research study. A solution was obtained as respondents suggested the best guidelines for improving digital literacy skills of students of Makerere college school Library
