    Abstract
Monitoring the levels of contaminants in drinking, waste, surface and ground water is essential for ensuring quality and protecting human health. Routine testing and monitoring of water quality at distribution networks is done by going into the field, collecting samples, testing them and making reports on a weekly basis. For this reason this project develops an automated water quality data collection and logging monitoring system for (National Water and Sewerage Cooperation) NWSC, focusing on the three critical water quality parameters i.e. pH, turbidity and conductivity. The system automatically collect water test results in real time and send it to a remote (Structured Query Language) SQL database. The system has been developed for field deployment by NWSC at various times and distribution point locations.
