Job insecurity, deviant workplace behaviors and turnover intentions among employees of Caritas Organization
Abstract
The study aimed at examining the relationships between job insecurity, deviant workplace behaviors and turnover intentions. The study adopted a correlation research design with The objectives are to examine the relationship between job insecurity and deviant workplace behaviors, to examine the relationship between deviant workplace behaviors and turnover intentions and to find out the relationship between job insecurity and turnover intentions. Data was collected from respondents using self-administered standard questionnaires and through entering filled questionnaires into Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), data was analyzed. Pearson product moment correlation (r) further indicated that there was a significant positive relationship between job insecurity and deviant workplace behaviors; there was a significant positive relationship between deviant workplace behaviors and turnover intentions. Similarly, there was a significant positive relationship between job insecurity and turnover intentions.
