    Employee emotionality, job satisfaction and counterproductive work behavior among employees of Uganda Red Cross Society Lubaga

    Abstract
    This research was conducted to examine the relationship between Employee Emotionality, Job satisfaction and counterproductive work behavior among Employees of Uganda Red Cross society and was carried out at the Uganda Red Cross society during June to July. In today’s competitive business environment, organizations are facing low levels of job satisfaction. This results from employee emotions which are usually aggravated by poor compensation and lack of internal satisfaction by the employees, to the employees. The research used a correlation research design, data was collected documents analysis and discussions from a sample of 140 employees and analyzed using Statistical Package of Social Sciences (SPSS). The findings revealed that Employee Emotionality, Job satisfaction and counterproductive work behavior are not significantly related. The findings further revealed that job satisfaction impacts on counterproductive work behavior at Uganda Red Cross society. The researcher recommended the need to further investigate the area of employee emotionality in order to improve on the levels of job satisfaction. Dedication
