    Abstract
The importance of the Kampala Industrial and Business Park (KIBP) to the economy of Uganda cannot be overstressed. However the incessant floods as well as lack of proper infrastructure such as tarmacked roads, electricity, water and sewerage system have been cited as the main factors hindering occupation and development of the park. Putting in place better flood mitigation measures can help to fast track the development of the park. This report contains relevant information for a flood risk assessment carried out for the KIBP in Namanve, Kira municipality, Mukono District.
