Job involvement and organizational commitment. A case study of vision group Uganda limited
Abstract
The study aimed at investigating the relationship between job involvement and organizational commitment among employees of Vision Group Uganda limited. The objectives were to examine the relationship between job involvement and organisational commitment.
This study was carried out using a Correlational research design; questionnaires were used to collect data from respondents. The participants were all employees of Vision Group.81 respondents participated in the study and these were sampled using simple random sampling technique.
Percentages were used to answer research questions and data was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS) version 21. Pearson Correlation coefficient (r) was used to test the relationships. Findings indicated that there was a positive non-significant relationship between job involvement and organizational commitment. Furthermore, levels of job involvement were high while those for organizational commitment were moderately high.
