dc.description.abstract | The major purpose of the study was to establish the Performance - Based Rewards, Team work and Job performance among employees of Equity Bank Wandegeya Branch Uganda. The purpose of the study we to examine the relationship between performances based rewards teamwork and job performance among the employees of Equity Bank Wandegeya , to examine the relationship between performances based rewards and teamwork , performances based rewards and job performance and the relationship between team work and job performance.
The study adopted correlation research design because it is a specific type of non-experimental design used to describe the relationship between Performance - Based Rewards, Team work and Job performance among employees of equity bank Wandegeya. Data was presented into statistical information using statistical package for social scientists (SPSS) and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (r) to establish whether the variables were correlated.
The researcher observed and concluded that there is a negative relationship between performance based rewards and team work. This is in line with the first hypothesis, which stressed that there is a significant relationship between performance based rewards and team work. However, the study found out that the higher performance based rewards the lower the team work. The study found out that there is a relationship between performance based rewards and job performance was positive and significant which implies that performances based rewards among employees is significantly positively correlated with job performance in employees.The study also found out that there is a positive and significant relationship between team work and job performance. Good team work will lead to positive job performance among employees at Equity Bank Wandegeya.
The researcher recommends organizations to reward everyone in the organization because motivating only one worker affects team work in the organization. It also to discrimination among workers. Training of workers on team work and its importance in the organization. This is because some workers don’t know the importance of team work in an organization. | en_US |
