Documenting land grabbing cases in Uganda

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to document Land Grabbing Cases in Uganda using a case study of the Daily Monitor Newspapers, June to December 2018 with a view of identifying land grabbing cases with Monitor Newspaper from June-December 2018 and laying strategies for improved documentation. The Content analysis was the main method of data collection. Major findings revealed that very little documentation about land grabbling exists at all levels; there are various forms of land grabbling; and the concept of land grabbling is known by everybody and Daily Monitor has exposed the challenge to the public.
