Chapter one
It consists of the background, problem statement, main and specific objectives, significance and the scope of the project
Chapter two
It consists of the literature review explaining smart meters, types of energy meter readers, existing energy metering systems energy theft and meter tampering techniques, effects of meter tampering comparison between existing system and proposed system of a tamper proof GIS operated smart prepaid meter system and the system components and how each operates.
Chapter three
Consists of the methodology showing the process how we constructed a working prototype of a tamper proof GIS operated smart prepaid meter system
Chapter four
This consists of the results obtained and how the results were analyzed
