dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between stress, self-esteem and psychological wellbeing among health care workers at Naguru Teenage Center in Kampala District. The aims were to achieve the following objectives: to examine the relationship between stress and self-esteem, to establish the relationship between self-esteem and psychological well being and lastly to examine the relationship between stress and psychological well being. A sample of 80 health care workers was used in the study. This study adopted a cross-sectional survey design which is quantitative in nature. The respondents were chosen using a simple random sampling technique. A self -administered questionnaire was used in the data collection, data was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Scientist (SPSS). Pearson Moment Correlation Coefficient was used to test the significance and the direction of the relationship between the study variables. | en_US |
