Domestic violence, anxiety and self-esteem among students
Abstract
The study examined the relationship between domestic violence, anxiety and self-esteem among university students. The study adopted a correlational survey design that employed a quantitative approach. A sample of 81 respondents was selected using a simple random sample. Data obtained by use of a self-administered questionnaire and was analyzed by use of statistical package for social scientist (SPSS). Pearson correlation Co-efficient (r) was used to test the hypothesis. Correlation results indicated a no significant relationship between domestic violence and anxiety, also no significant relationship between domestic violence and self-esteem, and the results also indicated no significant relationship between domestic violence and self-esteem among University students.
