    Abstract
    Records in any organization are basic and crucial assets. Recorded information requires effective and efficient retrieval practices to ensure ease of access and records availability. Management of records at the YMCA Comprehensive Institute is majorly characterized by delayed retrieval of records. The aim of the study was to evaluate records retrieval practices in the finance department of YMCA comprehensive institute and to design a records retrieval system that can help to enhance records retrieval function.
