    Abstract
The purpose of the study was to find out the relationship between peer pressures, self-esteem and risk sexual behavior among adolescents. The research study was guided by the following objectives; to investigate whether peer pressure is related to self-esteem, to investigate whether peer pressure is related to risk sexual behavior among adolescents and to investigate the relationship between peer pressure and risk sexual behavior among adolescents. The study adopted a correlational design because the variables to be studied were to test the cause and effect relationship as well as showing the numeric differences. The first hypothesis stated that there is a significant relationship between Peer Pressure and Self-Esteem. The findings in table 4 show that p = .371, r = -.106. Since the level of significance at .371 is bigger in magnitude than the level of significance at 0.01. The second hypothesis stated that there is a significant relationship between Self-Esteem and Risk Sexual Behavior. The findings in table 5 show that p = .002, r = -.360**. Since the level of significance at .002 is smaller in magnitude than the level of significance at 0.01. The third hypothesis states that there is a significant relationship between Peer Pressure and Risk Sexual Behavior. The findings in table 6 show that p = .009, r = .305**. Since the level of significance at .009 is smaller in magnitude than the level of significance at 0.01. Conclusively Risky sexual behavior is a growing public health concern, since it can lead to negative sexual outcomes such as sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancy. It being a cause of behavioral and psychological factors therefore a behavior of whom adolescents interact with should be addressed to improve on the psychological way of thinking during development.
