Employee Emotionality, Turnover Intentions and Work Performance at TASO- Mulago
Abstract
This study was designed to examine the relationship between employee emotionality, turnover intentions and work performance among employees of TASO-Mulago. The study intended to achieve the following objectives; to find out whether out whether employee emotionality, turnover intentions and work performance are significantly inter-related. A cross sectional research designed using quantitative approach was adopted and data was collected from a sample of 80 employees. The researcher used Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (r) to test hypotheses 1, 2 and 3. The finding revealed that employee emotionality, turnover intentions and work performance are significantly related. Basing on the findings, the researcher concluded that there is a great need to further investigate the area of work performance to find out ways to improve job performance.
