Effort reward imbalance, organizational commitment and employee turnover among employees of Nansana Municipality Council
Abstract
To examine Effort Reward Imbalance, Organizational Commitment and employee turnover among employees of Nansana Municipality Council. The study has the following objectives; To examine the relationship between effort reward imbalance and organizational commitment. To examine the relationship between effort reward imbalance and employee turnover. To examine the relationship between organizational commitment and employee turnover. Findings showed that the researcher concluded by rejecting the null hypothesis and concluded that effort reward imbalance and organizational commitment are significantly related. The researcher rejected the null hypothesis and concluded that organizational commitment and employee turnover are significantly related. The researcher rejected the null hypothesis and concluded that effort reward imbalance and employee turnover are significantly related. It was recommended that; Employers should carry out surveys amongst their employees to ensure they are satisfied with the employment rewards from the organization because boosts their commitment and reduces their turnover from the organization. Employees are also called upon to raise complaints of inadequate rewards in regards to the work done for the organization. This gives the employers a hint on the employee intention to turnover due to the reward imbalance which can be curb as soon as possible.
