| dc.description.abstract | The study was conducted among secondary school students in Kololo Senior Secondary School. The purpose of the study was to find whether substance abuse, risky sexual behavior and peer influence are significantly related. The study used a sample of 447 students who participated in the study and standardized sets of questionnaires for each variable was used to gather the required information from the respondents. Hypotheses were tested by Pearson Correlation co efficiency using SPSS and the results revealed that there is no significance relationship between substance abuse and risky sexual behavior among students. The study also revealed that there is a significant relationship between substance abuse and peer influence and lastly the study revealed that there is no significant relationship between risky sexual behavior and peer influence among students in Kololo Senior Secondary School. Discussion of the results in relation to the literatures was presented in chapter five, recommendations and area for further research were indicated and references and citations clearly shown. | en_US |
