Monetary Incentives, Employee Motivation and Job Performance among Employees at Nansana Municipal Council
Abstract
The aim of the study was to establish the impact of monetary incentives an employee’s moti-vation and job performance. The study was conducted at Nansana municipal council. A corre-lation study design was used and 60 employees participated. Data was collected and analysed using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) the Pearson’s correlation coefficient (r) was used to determine the level of significance of the hypotheses the relationship. Results indicated that there was a significantly positive relationship between monetary incentives, employee motivation and job performance
