Abstract
Law enforcement agencies are currently grappling with significant challenges in managing the lifecycle of evidence, especially from the collection stage to the ultimate utilization in court proceedings. This phase poses substantial issues for police organizations today in their pursuit for efficient and reliable evidence management. To address this problem, a comprehensive Software Requirements Document has been developed covering essential functionalities. These requirements were diligently implemented using tools like Visual Studio Code and Ethereum technology. Thorough inspection and testing of the Tamperproof Criminal Records Management System (TPCMS) ensured the seamless functioning, compliance with requirements and enhanced security of software and network components. With successful implementation and testing, the installation phase followed, leading to the anticipated acceptance testing.
