Design proposal of human resource records management system at Reproductive Health Uganda

Abstract

This study focused on proposing a human resource records management system at Reproductive Health Uganda. The study was based on different objectives such as establishing the records management practices used at Reproductive Health Uganda, investigate the challenges faced in storage and retrieval of records, and establish solutions to challenges affecting human resource records management at Reproductive Health Uganda. The qualitative study was based on a phenomenological research design research design. Data was collected from a sample of 15 staff of Reproductive Health Uganda using a structured interview guide. This study provided an insight into the HR records and archival management system at RHU. The assessment revealed that records available are categorized which function enabled the different classes of records being accorded the necessary attention deserved in terms of storage and retrieval. The study showed that once the HR records system is implemented, RHU would be able to have several benefits both fir the organization and users.
