dc.description.abstract This research was conducted to examine the relationship between Occupational Stress, Job Satisfaction and Job Performance among Employees of Nansana Municipal Council. The specific objectives of the study were to establish the relationship between occupational stress and job satisfaction among employees of Nansana Municipal council,to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and job performance among employees of Nansana municipal council and to examine the relationship between occupational stress and job performance among employees of Nansana municipal council.The study adopted a correlation research design to establish the extent and the strength of relationship which exists between stress, job satisfaction and job performance among employees of Nansana Municipal council.The study was using a sample of 80 respondents who were adopted using a simple random sampling technique, data was collected using self-administered questionnaire sandlater analyzed using SPSS (statistical package for social scientist) version 20.0.The findings show that occupational stress and job satisfaction are significantly related (r= .423**,p=.000), it also revealed that there was a significant relationship between job satisfaction and job performance(r=.388** and p=.000), furthermore occupational stress and job performance are positively and significantly related (r=.284* and p=.011).The findings further revealed that occupational stress impacts job satisfaction at Nansana municipal council. But it was recommended that to effectively manage stress the administrators should identify ways of improving job performance by identifying different ways of motivating workers. en_US
