dc.description.abstract The purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between ethical leadership, employee engagement and organizational commitment among national institutions of higher learning in Kampala. The study adapted a comparative and correlation research design with a sample size of 40 respondents. Data was analyzed using a statistical package for social scientists (SPSS). Results indicated that ethical leadership had a significantly positive influence on employee engagement, ethical leadership had a positive influence on organizational commitment and also employee engagement and organizational commitment are significantly related. In conclusion, ethical leadership and employee engagement are significantly related, ethical leadership and organizational commitment are related, and employee engagement and organizational commitment are significantly related. Institutions of higher learning should attend to factors that attribute to ethical leadership, employee engagement and organizational commitment such as working schedules, relationships and communication en_US
