dc.description.abstract This project proposal contains a background, literature and detailed steps to be taken to design and fabricate a coil spring compressor with a detachable hydraulic car jack for small scale garages. The main objective of this project is to provide a cost-effective and efficient solution for small scale garages to easily compress and remove coil springs for repair and maintenance of shock absorbers. The coil spring compressor will be designed to be compact and portable, allowing for easy storage and transport. The detachable hydraulic car jack will provide the necessary force to compress the coil springs. This design will utilize readily available materials and simple fabrication techniques to minimize production costs and make the tool accessible to a wide range of mechanics en_US
