dc.description.abstract This study was carried out with the aim of investigating the relationship between job design, employee motivation and job performance among University lecturers at the college of CEDAT. The study used a cross-sectional design. The sample population included both male and female lecturers and involved 125 respondents from the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology. Data was collected through the use of administered questionnaires. The findings revealed that there is no significant relationship between job design and employee motivation, employee motivation and job performance are significantly related and also job design and job performance being significantly related. It is recommended that employers should be encouraged to carry out job rotation so as to reduce on the levels of boredom and monotony. Employers are also encouraged to motivate their employees so as to increase on their performance at work. en_US
