dc.description.abstract The purpose of this project was to develop an automated allocation system called the examination seating allocation system which would enable administrators / lecturers do proper room and seat allocation for the learners going to do their exams. The aim and objectives of this study were achieved using a combination of techniques. First, students at the college of computing and information sciences were interviewed through questionnaires. During system analysis and design the techniques applied include entity relationship modeling using entity relationship diagrams, data flow diagrams The entity relationship diagrams were used to show relationships among the entities of the system and the dataflow diagrams used to show the flow of information and activities that take place in our system MYSQL database management system was used to develop the database, php to create dynamic html pages and files, CSS and JavaScript for the graphical user interface, frameworks like bootstrap and phaser were used during the development of the system en_US
