dc.description.abstract Work-related stress has been known to have negative effects on worker’s quality of life, thereby affecting their productivity. However, less attention has been paid to the stress level, quality of life, and job satisfaction among these workers of Makerere University Hospital. This study aimed to determine the relationship between stress levels, quality of life, and job satisfaction among workers of Makerere University Hospital. A cross-sectional study design was used, involving collection of qualitative data for the workers of Makerere University Hospital using questionnaires. The study was using a sample of 132 respondents as obtained using Krejcie & Morgan chart. The respondents were conveniently sampled and data was collected using self-administered questionnaire and later analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Scientists (Version 21). Relationship between stress, job satisfaction and quality of life was determined using correlation analysis. We found that there was a significant relationship between stress and quality of life among the participants (r= -0.426, p= 0.004). However, findings show that that there was no significant relationship between stress and quality of life (r= -0.020, p= 0.896), and also no significant relationship between quality of life and job satisfaction (r= 0.169, p= 0.272).
