dc.description.abstract The study established the relationship between employee benefits, job satisfaction and employee performance among the staff members of Makerere University. Study adopted a cross-sectional research design. Data was analyzed using stratified random sampling by selecting 50 respondents who included 29 male and 21 female employees. The findings showed a positive relationship that; there is a significant relationship between employee benefits and employee performance, there is a significant relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance and that there is a significant relationship between employee benefits and employee performance. Therefore, employee benefits like entitlement to leaves could motivate staff members to perform to their best. None the less availability of factors like job security, good working conditions and good pay could motivate employees to work and perform well when at workplaces. en_US
