dc.description.abstract The study was aimed at designing of guidelines for improvement of provision of library services at Kakungulu memorial school library. The objectives of the study were, to assess the current status of services provided by Kakungulu memorial school, to examine challenges of library services provision at Kakungulu memorial school library and to design guidelines for improvement of provision of library services to Kakungulu memorial school library. A descriptive research design was used. This is the basic research method in which the researcher describes the state of the affairs as exists and reports the findings. The researcher collected information by interviewing and administering a questionnaire to sample individuals. The research design such as interview guide, questionnaire guide and observation guide were the instruments that were used for data collection. The researcher found out several challenges that affects the improvement of school library services such as inadequate space, lack of library policy and collection management policy, poor user education, inadequate materials, inadequate funds, monitoring and evaluation where possible solutions, conclusion and recommendations were laid to improve on the provision of school library services at Kakungulu memorial school library. en_US
