dc.description.abstract	The research was carried out in Kirombe North, Lira City West under the topic ‘An analysis of the place and value of symbolism in proverbial expression: A case study of selected Lango proverbs.” The purpose of the study was to investigate how the Lango utilize symbolism in the expressing and understanding Lango proverbs. It was to collect a cross section of proverbs used by the Lango community and examine how symbolism is placed and used as a way of understanding the hidden means in proverbial expressions.	en_US
