dc.description.abstract This research work assessed the impact of co-education on the overall development of an individual. The research was conducted on electronic databases, where relevant articles to the topic of study were searched. Mostly used search engines ware Google scholar and research gate. It was found out that although single sex schools perform better in academics compared to co-ed schools, co-ed schools are a better choice for an all-round development of an individual. From the existing literature, it was proved that learners in co-ed schools have a better understanding of the other gender, are confident compared to their counterparts in single schools. It was also found that students in co-ed schools are able to work with ease in presence of the other gender. en_US
