dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship Work Motivation, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment among staff in Makerere University. A quantitative study design was used, correlation will be used in study to establish the relationship Work Motivation, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment among staff in Makerere University. The study used a sample of 100 respondents who will be adopted using simple sampling technique. Data was therefore collected using self-administered questionnaire and interview and later analyzed using statistical package of social scientists (SPSS). The study results revealed that there was a significant relationship between Motivation and Organizational satisfaction, a significant relationship between Organizational Commitment and satisfaction as well as a significant relationship between Motivation and commitment. Employees who work harder and perform well and meet their targets should be motivated by their respective organizations (Makerere University) by giving them a special treatment in terms of incentives like bonus etc. to further increase in their levels of job commitment and to induce others to follow their footsteps. en_US
