dc.description.abstract This research was conducted to examine the relationship between Occupational Stress, Employee Engagement and Organisational Commitment among Employees of SWAT Security Company and was carried out in Kampala during June to July. Many employees today are less engaged due to the fact that they are stressed at work, this affects both their individual and Organizational commitment. Therefore the research looks at how based employees are affected by Stress, engagement and how it affects organisational commitment.The study used a correlation research design, data was collected from 68 respondents of SWAT Security Company from both female and male and SPSS was used for documents analysis and discussions. The findings revealed that there is a negative relationship between occupational stress and employee engagement, a negative relationship between stress and organisational commitment and a positive relationship between employee engagement and organisational commitment. The study recommended the need of organisations to control and eliminate stressors from workplaces as a way to improve on employee engagement and commitment. en_US
