dc.description.abstract Metaphor this thesis deals with studying metaphor and the selected children's songs of the Acholi of Northern Uganda. To establish this, the researcher interacted with both children and elderly people aged between 14-50 years. Some methods used to collect data were questionnaires, observation, interviews, and Internet research. The collected data was then subjected to thorough analysis by various scholars who also carried out research related to the topic that this research handles. Findings from the research were then used to draw conclusions and make recommendations. or in selected children's songs: a case study of selected Acoli children's songs. en_US
