dc.description.abstract The main purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between job security, job satisfaction and job performance among the lecturers of Makerere University. The objective of the study was; to assess the relationship between job security and job satisfaction, to assess the relationship between job security and job performance and to assess the relationship between job satisfaction and job performance. The study adopted a correlational survey as its research design where quantitative method was used to gather information for proper analysis and making appropriate inferences, generalizations and conclusions to the population where a sample size of 67 lecturers both male and female was used. The research study employed a simple random sampling technique to select the respondents and the analysis was done using SPSS version 21. Pearson correlation was used to examine the relationship between the study variables and it was found that all the variables were significantly related at the 0.01 level (2-tailed). In conclusion the study found that job security plays a pivotal role in the job satisfaction and job performance of employees. Recommendations made include that organizations should periodically evaluate employees performance and in case of a fall in performance, try to find out why. en_US
