dc.description.abstract Developed a line design criteria for the UMEME MV network. The framework used was data of operating conditions from Uganda National Meteorological Society (UNMA), performance data of the different networks from UMEME which were correlated. Sag and tension values are obtained using the operating conditions that is rainfall, wind, and temperature changes. The conductor used is AAAC 100 mm2. The impact of the developed line design criteria is determined to obtain its relation to reliability Case study: Mbarara, Kitgum, Tororo en_US
